Allows storing related
documents as a single entity, versioning can be applied at a stretch to all
the documents in the Document set.
Eg: Store all contract related documents in a Document Set (.doc, .xls, .pdf..) |
Hierarchical structures

organized in a Hierarchical structure, specific to business needs.

Flexible Retention rule
|
Retention rules can be
applied to individual files, Lists, Document Libraries or a Content Type.

Multi stage Retention rules

Allows retention rules to be
applied in multiple stages.

In-Place Records Management

Allows documents in a
Document Library to be declared as Records, without having to move them to a Records
